Our Executive Director Leads ‘Pause for Peace’ at Fashion Industry Panel
JANUARY 30, TORONTO, CANADA — Our Executive Director Alexia Cito attended ‘The Future of Fashion: AI Redefining Design & Retail’ where she led a ‘Pause for Peace’ guided Love Peace Harmony practice to open the event. Love Peace Harmony Foundation was one of the sponsors for this panel on how AI is reshaping the fashion industry in design, retail, and education, with industry innovators.
The panel was organized by one of our long time Love Peace Harmony community members here in Toronto, Huma Aslam, a professional working in the fashion industry. The event took place at the Toronto location of Soho House, an international private members’ club with a focus on the media, arts and fashion industries, with 42 locations worldwide.
Convening the event, Alexia led the audience in taking a moment to go within and reconnect, before it launched into the panel. The crowd was captivated, with many closing their eyes and participating, and a palpable shift was felt in the room.
After the panel, both participants and panelists approached Alexia and acknowledged the difference they felt through participating in the practice at the beginning of the event.
This is one example of how we can bring love, peace and harmony into many areas of life, including through simple activities like this ‘Pause for Peace’.
