Our Love Peace Harmony Field™ at Croydon University Hospital - London, UK

LPHF Volunteer Dr. Mark Tan works in the ER at Croydon University Hospital, London, UK and has created the hospital’s ‘Wellbeing Room’ which includes the Love Peace Harmony Field™, set up in the designated space, to serve and support their staff of doctors, nurses, and other health professionals, operating since early 2024

Some of Dr. Mark’s colleagues share their experiences:

Within our global network of dedicated volunteers engaging in diverse healthcare initiatives, we are thrilled about expanding our services to hospitals, exemplified by nurse Sylvie Varin, an esteemed LPHF Volunteer and accomplished anesthetist at a prestigious hospital, the Clinique Rive Gauche in Toulouse, France. The introduction of wellness initiatives like the Love Peace Harmony Field™ in hospitals is paramount due to the high-stress nature of healthcare environments, where professionals often face intense pressure. This dedicated space can create stress reduction and increase emotional well-being, positively impacting healthcare professionals’ resilience and, consequently, enhancing patient care. Embracing holistic wellness practices in hospitals acknowledges the mind-body connection in healthcare, supporting the well-being of healthcare professionals and contributing to a healthier and more compassionate healthcare environment, ultimately benefiting patient outcomes and service quality.

With the Love Peace Harmony Field™, many are reporting their positive experiences such as stress reduction, calmness, peace, and a boost in overall happiness and energy levels.

  • “The meditation sessions are calming and restful, much needed after grueling shifts at work. The coordinators harness the benefits of sound to stimulate peace and calm, which in turn facilitates rest and transformation within – way more beneficial than medication for transforming my insomnia.”

“I am very happy to see these wellbeing sessions are flourishing in several corners of our planet for medical personnel, being familiar with the environment, I know how important this is.”

- Nurse Sylvie Varin, clinical anesthesiologist, Clinique Rive Gauche, Toulouse, France.

Sylvie Varin, a nurse anesthesiologist at Clinique Rive Gauche in Toulouse, France, created the first dedicated space in a hospital environment for a Love Peace Harmony Field™ after experiencing great benefits from it in her recovery from burnout and chronic back pain. Motivated to support her fellow healthcare workers' well-being, she received training and became a Love Peace Harmony Foundation Volunteer, eventually establishing a permanent well-being room equipped with the Love Peace Harmony Field™ in the hospital with the support of her colleagues and management. Since its launch in 2021, the room has become a vital 24/7 space for staff to relieve stress and restore emotional balance, helping to prevent burnout and transform workplace tensions. Sylvie’s initiative has inspired similar efforts worldwide, demonstrating the powerful impact of simple, heart-centered techniques in promoting mental, emotional, and physical health among medical professionals.

Pascale experiences benefits in the Love Peace Harmony Field™ for her chronic back pain from her daily intensive shifts, visiting regularly. She shares, “In the Love Peace Harmony Field, I feel serenity, relief, and beauty.”

Isabelle encourages her fellow staff, including surgeons, to take a break in the Love Peace Harmony Field™. She shares, “The session clears the air around me, I let the music flow into my thoughts to feel the benefits of the positive energies, and feel the calling to trace the calligraphy. At the end of a session I feel more relaxed, peaceful and light.”
